Love Within Quilt
This Love Within quilt is a romantic quilt with lovely grays and shades of yellow! A quilt is not only a cozy bedspread: it is also a piece of artwork. The artisans who design our quilts choose quality colorful fabrics to arrange into an eye-catching masterpiece. Choose from our selection of over two hundred handmade quilts for a quilt that best complements your style.
While the pieces of fabric are sewn together by machine to ensure tighter stitching, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton fabrics compose the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched between those two layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting guaranties both warmth and excellent washing results.
Yes, the quilts are indeed machine-washable! We recommend the following guidelines for best results:
Machine wash with cold water on gentle cycle.
Use mild detergent, such as liquid Cheer for colors (No bleach or bleach alternatives. No Woolite or fabric softener.) For the first washing, add 1/2 cup vinegar and 2 tablespoons of salt in addition to the detergent. This home remedy prevents bleed and helps to set the colors in your quilt.
Remove quilt as soon as washer stops to minimize wrinkles and color-bleeding.
Never put quilt into the dryer! Line dry on a breezy day.
Quilts can be dry-cleaned at your own risk, but we definitely recommend washing.
The Love Within quilt is a beautiful variation of the Bargello family patterns. Bargello quilts depend on the arrangement of colors in a quilt to determine the pattern; this quilt forms a heart.
Did you know?
The term handmade is frequently used to define crafts created by a craftsman in contrast to a factory. Each handmade quilt is distinct because it is not mass-produced. Nonetheless, not all the stitching in a handcrafted quilt is done by hand. Just as the woodcrafter uses mechanical tools to develop his craftsmanship, our seamstresses make use of numerous tools to craft these quilts. The seamstress cuts her pieces with a rotary knife and stitch them with each other on the sewing machine. The quilter collaborates with merely thimble, string, and needle to quilt numerous little stitches throughout the quilt. Handmade is a gift: it is the gift of time and talent to create a thing distinctly for you.
