Wedding Ring Quilt

This Wedding Ring Quilt is a beautiful, romantic symbol of love. Perfect to give that special someone as a gift. A quilt is not only a cozy bedspread: it is also a piece of artwork. The artisans who design our quilts choose quality colorful fabrics to arrange into an eye-catching masterpiece. Choose from our selection of over two hundred handmade quilts for a quilt that best complements your style.

While the pieces of fabric are sewn together by machine to ensure tighter stitching, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton fabrics compose the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched between those two layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting guaranties both warmth and excellent washing results.

Yes, the quilts are indeed machine-washable! We recommend the following guidelines for best results:

  • Machine wash with cold water on gentle cycle.

  • Use mild detergent, such as liquid Cheer for colors (No bleach or bleach alternatives. No Woolite or fabric softener.) For the first washing, add 1/2 cup vinegar and 2 tablespoons of salt in addition to the detergent. This home remedy prevents bleed and helps to set the colors in your quilt.

  • Remove quilt as soon as washer stops to minimize wrinkles and color-bleeding.

  • Never put quilt into the dryer! Line dry on a breezy day.

  • Quilts can be dry-cleaned at your own risk, but we definitely recommend washing.

 Quilt Trivia

Family Farm Quilts employs nearly 200 Amish and Mennonite ladies to make quilts for our store.

Each step of the quilt-making process requires a specific woman’s expertise. Each of our ladies specializes in either piecing or quilting. Therefore, at least two ladies are involved in making each quilt. The women who sew the tops together specialize in piecing certain quilt patterns. Since each quilter’s stitches vary, only one lady does the quilting per quilt. This system allows each woman to become an expert in her field.
