The Cathedral Window Quilt is one-of-a-kind! The folding of the “windows” requires hours of hand work. The extreme precision and patience that’s required makes it a rare item. The Cathedral Window Quilt is also unique in that it doesn’t have batting in the center. The many fabric folds make it a heavy, warm quilt without any extra stuffing. Folded triangles form a zig-zag border all around the quilt. This quilt was hand-quilted by one woman to ensure even stitching.
Quilt fits a king-size bed and will have an 17 inch drop per side.
Measures 112″ wide x 118″ long.

Homemade quilts combine the warmth of a bed cover with a unique story told by the quilters from Lancaster County, PA. Every homemade quilt is as unique as the family, busy mother or Amish ladies group who uses a needle and thimble to thread stitch on the quilt. Some quilts involve hundreds of hours and thousands of stitches to create a unique patchwork quilt that will last for generations.
