The Spin Star Quilt, sometimes known as the “Card Trick”, features spinning stars and feather quilting. This handmade quilt boasts a scalloped border and over 300 yards of hand-quilting, all quilted by one Pennsylvania Amish lady to insure uniform stitching. The quilt is initialed and dated.
The Spin Star Quilt fits a queen-size bed and has a 21 inch drop.
Measures 102″ wide x 114″ long.

Although the pieces of fabric are sewn together by machine to ensure tighter sewing, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton materials make up the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched between those 2 layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting warranties both heat and also outstanding washing results.
The majority of our quilts are sizable enough to reduce the need for a dust ruffle or pillow shams. Just as mattress heights differ, each quilt's measurements is different. We post the quilt's measurements in addition to the calculated drop for you to compare to the dimensions you want to have. I love my purple Lone Star Quilt…it was a big investment for me! I bought a Twin size that was listed as fitting a Queen and it did (using my ruffle). Thank you for having accurate measurements and good photos AND updated notes on availability. I found one a couple of years ago on another site out in PA and I ordered it and my card was charged. Then, I was called to say it wasn’t available and would be 6 months if I wanted it made. Your emails were great and was surprised by the fast delivery. PS. My grandma made lots of quilts – log cabin, lone star and many others about 25+ years ago….your quality is on par with hers.

My husband loves the ocean, we live 1 hour away, so I bought this quilt “for him”. Our bedroom has several nautical items in it and is painted a sea foam blue. We love it and we pray for the quilter of the Sailor’s compass quilt nightly.
