The Starry Night Quilt boasts a beautiful center star surrounded by smaller stars. Surrounded by a scalloped border, this beautiful heirloom was hand-quilted by one lady to ensure even stitching. This quilt is initialed and dated. On a King bed, this quilt will have an 15 inch drop per side.

Although the pieces of fabric are stitched by machine to make certain tighter sewing, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton fabrics make up the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched in between those 2 layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting guaranties both heat and excellent washing results.
Most of our quilts are generous enough to eliminate the necessity for a dust ruffle or pillow shams. Just as mattress heights vary, each quilt's proportions is different. We list the quilt's dimensions together with the calculated drop for you to compare to the dimensions you want to have. Definitely do your research prior to your purchase!As a matter of fact, our quilts are certainly washable in a washing machine! We suggest complying with these standards for best results:

I love my purple Lone Star Quilt…it was a big investment for me! I bought a Twin size that was listed as fitting a Queen and it did (using my ruffle). Thank you for having accurate measurements and good photos AND updated notes on availability. I found one a couple of years ago on another site out in PA and I ordered it and my card was charged. Then, I was called to say it wasn’t available and would be 6 months if I wanted it made. Your emails were great and was surprised by the fast delivery. PS. My grandma made lots of quilts – log cabin, lone star and many others about 25+ years ago….your quality is on par with hers.
