The Log Cabin Lone Star quilt is a beautiful combination of two traditional patterns, the Log Cabin and the Lone Star quilt. It is made with rich light blue and white fabrics with a beautiful light blue border. One Pennsylvania Plain woman hand-quilted this quilt with many yards of hand-quilting. It is initialed and dated. On a queen-size bed, this quilt will allow 19 inches of drop per side.

Although the pieces of fabric are stitched together by machine to guarantee tighter sewing, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton materials make up the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched between those two layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting warranties both heat and also superb washing outcomes.

I love my purple Lone Star Quilt…it was a big investment for me! I bought a Twin size that was listed as fitting a Queen and it did (using my ruffle). Thank you for having accurate measurements and good photos AND updated notes on availability. I found one a couple of years ago on another site out in PA and I ordered it and my card was charged. Then, I was called to say it wasn’t available and would be 6 months if I wanted it made. Your emails were great and was surprised by the fast delivery. PS. My grandma made lots of quilts – log cabin, lone star and many others about 25+ years ago….your quality is on par with hers.
