The Log Cabin Lone Star Quilt gives you two quilt patterns in one! It is a combination of the classic Lone Star and Log Cabin Quilts.
This Log Cabin Lone Star Quilt boasts a scalloped border and 260 yards of very neat hand-quilting, all quilted by one Pennsylvania Amish lady to insure even stitches.
Quilt fits a queen-size bed and will have a 20 inch drop per side.

Although the pieces of fabric are sewn together by machine to make sure tighter sewing, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton fabrics make up the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched between those 2 layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting guaranties both warmth and excellent washing outcomes.

I love my purple Lone Star Quilt…it was a big investment for me! I bought a Twin size that was listed as fitting a Queen and it did (using my ruffle). Thank you for having accurate measurements and good photos AND updated notes on availability. I found one a couple of years ago on another site out in PA and I ordered it and my card was charged. Then, I was called to say it wasn’t available and would be 6 months if I wanted it made. Your emails were great and was surprised by the fast delivery. PS. My grandma made lots of quilts – log cabin, lone star and many others about 25+ years ago….your quality is on par with hers.
My husband loves the ocean, we live 1 hour away, so I bought this quilt “for him”. Our bedroom has several nautical items in it and is painted a sea foam blue. We love it and we pray for the quilter of the Sailor’s compass quilt nightly.

Each step of the quilt-making process requires a certain woman's competence. Every one of our women focuses on either piecing or quilting. At the very least 2 ladies are included in making each quilt. The ladies that stitch the tops with each other specialize in piecing particular quilt patterns. Because each quilter's stitches differ, only one lady does the quilting per quilt. This system enables each woman to become a professional in her work.
