The Log Cabin Lone Star Quilt gives you two quilt patterns in one! It is a combination of the classic Lone Star and Log Cabin Quilts.
The Log Cabin Lone Star Quilt boasts a scalloped border and over 200 yards of very neat hand-quilting, all quilted by one Pennsylvania Amish lady to insure even stitches. It is initialed and dated.
Quilt fits a twin-size bed and has a 21 inch drop per side.
Measures 81″ wide x 114″ long.

Though the fabric pieces are stitched by machine to guarantee tighter stitching, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton fabrics make up the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched in between those two layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting warranties both warmth and outstanding washing results.
You will find our quilts to be relatively sizable in length and width. Actuality, almost all of our quilts are generous enough to eliminate the need for a dust ruffle or pillow shams. Just as bed heights vary, each quilt's proportions is different as well. You'll find we specify the quilt's measurements with the estimated drop for you to compare to the dimensions you need. I love my purple Lone Star Quilt…it was a big investment for me! I bought a Twin size that was listed as fitting a Queen and it did (using my ruffle). Thank you for having accurate measurements and good photos AND updated notes on availability. I found one a couple of years ago on another site out in PA and I ordered it and my card was charged. Then, I was called to say it wasn’t available and would be 6 months if I wanted it made. Your emails were great and was surprised by the fast delivery. PS. My grandma made lots of quilts – log cabin, lone star and many others about 25+ years ago….your quality is on par with hers.
My husband loves the ocean, we live 1 hour away, so I bought this quilt “for him”. Our bedroom has several nautical items in it and is painted a sea foam blue. We love it and we pray for the quilter of the Sailor’s compass quilt nightly.
